Barangkali kata-kata bestari yang menyarankan kita belajar hingga ke China itu yang dipegang Shila Amzah ketika dia memutuskan untuk meneroka pasaran di negara tembok besar itu.<\/p>\n

Dan ternyata langkahnya berbaloi.<\/p>\n

Menjadi penyanyi Melayu yang bertudung tidak menghalang Shila membina pengaruh di negara berkenaan, khususnya di Shanghai.<\/p>\n

Di sana dia menjadi kegemaran peminat yang mempunyai latar belakang budaya dan bahasa yang berbeza.<\/p>\n

Selain mendapat tempat di hati peminat, ada juga pengalaman bermakna diperolehinya. Ia mengajar Shila mengenai kesungguhan, profesionalisme dan etika kerja.<\/p>\n

Shila, 26, berkunjung ke pejabat Malaysiakini di Petaling Jaya baru-baru ini. Ia adalah sebahagian daripada jadual yang diatur sebelum dia terbang semula ke China.<\/p>\n

Terkejut dan bimbang<\/h2>\n

Menurut Shila, pasukan pengurusannya di China mengajarnya supaya tegas dan tidak mengalah ketika berurusan dengan mana-mana pihak jika ia memang berhak.<\/p>\n

Namun yang menarik ketegasan itu tidak menyebabkan peminat atau penganjur menjauhkan diri. Barangkali itu antara sifat profesionalisme yang diamalkan orang China.<\/p>\n

Pernah suatu hari ketika Shila sedang makan, ada peminat mahu merakam gambarnya namun dihalang dengan tegas oleh pegawai pengurusannya.<\/p>\n

Mengakui agak terkejut dan bimbang peminat terbabit berkecil hati, Shila memberitahu kakitangan berkenaan, kurang manis peminat diperlakukan begitu.<\/p>\n

Semua buat sendiri<\/h2>\n

Begitu juga apabila Shila memberitahu sebagai seorang muslimah, dia perlu menjaga jarak antara dirinya dengan mana-mana lelaki bukan mahram.<\/p>\n

Permintaan itu diterima dengan terbuka. Malah, kata Shila, apabila dia bergambar dengan lelaki lain misalnya, mereka akan menjarakkan diri sehingga pada ketika tertentu, jaraknya memang benar-benar jauh.<\/p>\n

Namun apabila bercakap mengenai realiti di Malaysia, Shila segera akur. Keadaan di China tidak boleh dibandingkan dengan negara ini.<\/p>\n

Di sini, kata anak sulung penyanyi ND Lala itu, keadaan masih belum sampai ke tahap sebegitu.<\/p>\n

Dan untuk tiba ke keadaan sama dialaminya di China ketika ini, masa bertahun-tahun diperlukan.<\/p>\n

Sementara itu menceritakan perkembangan terbarunya, Shila berkata, dia sedang menyiapkan album lagu-lagu Melayu yang dijangka dipasarkan tahun ini.<\/p>\n

Cuma peminatnya terpaksa menunggu lagi kerana buat masa ini, kata Shila, proses berkenaan baru siap kira-kira 50 peratus.<\/p>\n

Selain mencipta irama dan menulis lirik, Shila sendiri akan menerbitkan album berkenaan. Ia adalah tugasan yang perlu dilaksanakannya selain menguruskan persembahan atau memenuhi undangan di sana sini.<\/p>\n

Justeru, dapat difahami mengapa Shila – yang boleh menyanyi dalam 10 bahasa – mengambil masa agak lama.<\/p>\n
