Tarikh penayangan filem terbaru keluaran Disney, Beauty and The Beast, yang telah mencetuskan kontroversi di beberapa buah negara telah ditangguhkan tayangannya di pawagam-pawagam tempatan.<\/p>\n
Filem berkenaan pada asalnya dijadual ditayangkan pada 16 Mac, tetapi ditangguhkan disebabkan oleh ‘semakan dalaman’, kata pengedar filem The Walt Disney Co (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd dalam satu kiriman e-mel.<\/p>\n
“Tarikh tayang filem ditangguhkan dan kami sedang mengkaji tarikh tayangan baru,” kata seorang jurucakap Walt Disney Malaysia kepada Malaysiakini.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Tiada sebab lanjut diberikan berhubung perkara itu dan tiada tarikh baru tayangan dinyatakan.<\/p>\n
Tinjauan Malaysiakini mendapati jadual tayangan bagi filem itu dikeluarkan daripada aplikasi mudah alih oleh pawagam-pawagam utama.<\/p>\n
Tidak jelas mengapa tarikh tayangan filem itu ditangguhkan tetapi dipercayai ia ada kaitan dengan watak gay dalam filem berkenaan.<\/p>\n
