1) Poor air conditioner system
When you fail to maintain your air conditioner, it collects high concentrations of dust, pollen, and mold. All of this can increase the risk of developing asthma, or even a respiratory tract infection. Also make sure to dust off the debris collecting around the air conditioner as it would stain the walls in the long run.
2) What is lurking behind your refrigerator and microwave?
Two areas often neglected in the kitchen are behind the refrigerator and the microwave. Sort of the out of sight, out of mind theory, right?
Lots of dust on the coils can cause a refrigerator to run inefficiently
Plus, the walls behind the refrigerator also need attention because if the area is damp, mold can grow on the walls. Look behind your microwave too! We’ll bet you didn’t realize the wall behind your microwave is also dusty with cobwebs.
Remember, these are the appliances you use to store and heat up your food. If it is not cleaned thoroughly, it will affect your health.
3) Clean your furniture
Light switches, door knobs, door bells, faucets, cupboard shelves, sofas, and kitchen countertops have been identified as surfaces that are touched most frequently.
These are inadvertently touched by family members and guests
before hands are sanitised and can harbour infections that can spread swiftly.
Also look at the walls behind your furniture pieces. You may be shocked at what you find clinging on it. Start vacuuming and get rid of that dirt today!
4) Don’t forget to remove the debris from your blinds
During spring cleaning, it is often that the blinds are overlooked, until one day we realize they’re coated with dust, or they’ve gotten yellow and discolored from the sun. Whether they are wooden, fabric or plastics make sure to dust off those dirt as they would affect the cleanliness of your walls too.
